2023 APPROVED RULINGS
1. Skips and sweeping are allowed. Shots may be thrown with your preferred turn, shooting toward the glass.
Order of player shooting is at the discretion of the team; one shot per team member.
2. 4 shots will be executed in this order using player’s preferred turn:
A – Draw. Score the delivered rock.
B – Raise a rock placed one inch in front of the center of the house. Score the raised rock.
C – Come-around draw around a rock (without touching it) placed just touching the front of the center of the house.
Score the delivered rock.
D – Hit and Roll off a rock placed in the middle of the 8 foot, one inch in front of the Tee line. Score the delivered rock minus the score of the hit rock (if hit rock and delivered rock are both moved to an out of play position score minimum one point).
3. A minimum of 3 curlers is required per team. If there are only the minimum 3 curlers on a team, the lead shall execute two shots.
4. No practice shots beforehand are permitted.
5. In case of a tie for 10th place, one player from each team tied will shoot out sometime after Friday at 8 pm and before Sunday’s final with a winner declared by Draw Shot Distance (distance from the Tee, or centre of the house).
6. Top 10 teams will shoot out on Sunday at 2:00 pm.
Please shoot on a different sheet if you just curled on Sunday.
Points from first round are not transferable; all 10 teams start at 0.
Teams will shoot in reverse order of first round standings.
A minimum of 3 curlers is required per team. If there are only the minimum 3 curlers on a team, the lead shall execute two shots.
7. Be on time. More than 10 minutes late will result in a default.
